As a part of our Advent Conspiracy experience at The Orchard, we hit Michigan Avenue downtown Chicago and asked people: "What are you MOST excited about this Christmas?"
The point of the video was to illustrate how distracted we have become from the true meaning of Christmas and to show a "close to home" example of how consumerism and materialism have taken over.
This fact was even further illustrated by the fact that in the 2+ hours that we interviewed people (and even amidst a lot of great answers) - guess what word was never mentioned?
Jesus.
Not once.
Time to reclaim Advent.
Thanks for sharing and producing such a quality video! It is sad to think about how our society right here in Chicago is viewing the Christmas season.

I think you not only captured Chicago, but all of the US. What's really sad is how many talk about what they are getting and how self-focused too many are. This sure is telling...
