As for the gift? The only way to avoid really bad powerpoint, is to use another program like Keynote on the Mac. Nuff said.

My wife showed me the problems that the folks on "The Apprentice" had this past episode with PowerPoint.

This is true Doug, unfortunately the reality is that a lot of my corporate clients require presentations for themselves to give on their own computers, and being all PC based and non-computer saavy, the choices are very limited.
