Switching to this bag about a month ago was, without a doubt, a great move for me.
For years, I have used the typical black leather carrying case that everyone seems to use for their notebooks, books, notepads, pens, cell phones, chargers, etc.... Which is exactly what the problem was - I could fit TONS of stuff in it! Too much stuff in fact! Too many books. Too many file folders. Too many and too much of everything!
See, I'm one of those people who, when travelling, actually believes that I will have time to read those 4 books and 3 new magazines on a two day trip. The reality is that when I'm away, I can barely find the time to check my email or voice mails - let alone read four books!
So, in my effort to SIMPLIFY my daily work experience, I finally stepped out of my baggage comfort zone and purchased the Medium Loft Bag from the Austrailan bag designer, STM. I've owned it for about a month and so far have loved it!
The best part about the bag? It doesn't hold very much - which is great because it forces me to carry only the essentials. And in all honesty, since I've had it, I have not once found myself needing anything that wasn't in the bag! (Knock on wood...)
Anyway, it's a great bag. It's simple, it looks good and it has forced me to do more with less. So now, my bag simply consists of my 15" MacBook Pro, my Moleskine journal, a couple of pens, a legal pad or two, a couple of magazines (Fast Company & Wired), a digital camera, a couple of power cords and my iPod.
Simple is good. (Plus, orange & brown are two of my favorite colors!)
you're way too cool, Scott! ;-)

That looks like a great bag, much better that the multiple compartmentalized say it with me Scott-Eddie bower- bag that Terrie had for you on the simple video from the Easter series.
