Doesn't this guy look like the kind of guy you would want to have a cup of coffee with? Seriously. His name is Christopher Bailey and he has a blog with a very cool name - "the ALCHEMY of SOULFUL WORK: Exploring the holistic relationship between our work, our life, & our spirits."
You gotta like that.
I found Christopher's blog via an online community that I am a part of called Ho'ohana Community (which I have no idea how I ended up being invited into; but am glad I did! Thanks Rosa!) As a part of Rosa's May Lei tradition, I'm honored to highlight Chris' blog today.
Christopher's blog is refreshing for a lot of reasons. For one, he clearly thinks about what he's writing about (we appreciate this, Chris.) He also writes with a refreshing dose of authenticity. And I also appreciate his positive and upbeat style of writing (even in regards to weeds!!). I don't think I've ever read a depressing post from this guy (hold on...I'm checking the archives...) Ok, I'm right.
What I like most about Chris' blog is his topical diversity. One moment he writes about creativity - the next minute parenting. I can relate to this guy. (Plus, he reads a lot of the same books that I'm either reading or have read... - the Art of Possibility, Unstuck.)
Chris - keep up the great work. And thanks for the encouraging "tone" of your blog. (Oh yeah...and thanks for inspiring me to 'step up' to TypePad!)
Scott, you and all your readers, friends and family were destined to be part of the Ho'ohana Community!
Your Weebleland was the very first blog I ever subscribed to when I learned what RSS was - actually, when I learned what a blog was... I even remember it used to be called .:WeEbLeLaNd:. Your positive and infectious good spirit - your aloha - captivated me and helped me realize the wonderful possibilities there were in online communities.
Come to think of it, for that I should be giving you the biggest lei of all!
My mahalo and much aloha to you,
Rosa

I recently came across your blog and have been reading about holistic therapies. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
