My dog snores. I think she has allergys because during the day, her nose sounds kinda stuffy. When she does get to sleep, she snores. I have wondered if she has sleep apnea.

According to this, dogs can suffer from sleep apnea. More here, although I'm not sure how scientific the claims are.

Who would spend the time and money to research this?

When she's really tired, my wife sn.... Uh.. nevermind.
    Change of topic please.

Definately dogs snore! MY cocker spaniel snores louder than my husband!(Well sometimes) MY golden retriever, while sleeping comfortably on the couch has doggie nightmares and cries out in the middle of the night, and my Great Perinese, also pretty comfortable on the couch, grunts during her sleep periods. Want to dog sit for me sometime!!

If the dog suffered from sleep apnea he wouldnt make any sounds because sleep apnea would mean he stops breathing. They can snore and do especially if they have a high pitched wears out the vocal cords and causes the throat to swell
