I was stunned tonight when I read about the passing away of Kyle Lake. At 33 years old, Kyle was the lead pastor of University Baptist Church in Waco, Texas.
During this morning's service at UBC, Kyle was baptizing a woman when apparently he reached for a microphone and was electrocuted. He died around 11:30am.
Please extend your prayers to Kyle's family (wife & 3 young children) and the entire church community of UBC.

Incomprehensible loss. How devastated his family, church family and community must be.
We will pray for them.

That was tragic news. I was disapointed when I heard those I worked with snickering about the circumstances of Kyle's death! Perhaps angry was more to the point. And this from fellow Christians! We have a long way to go if this is our knee jerk response to loosing one of our own.
May God be with his family and his church.
